T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We did not reveal the Qur'an to you to cause you distress; 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 the All-compassionate sat Himself upon the Throne; to Him belongs 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 [Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses." 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
