He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
