Say, "O people, I am sent only to give you clear warning." 49 Then those who believe and work righteous works - for them is forgiveness and a provision honourable. 50 "But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them,- they will be Companions of the Fire." 51 Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom: 52 He would make Satan's temptations a trial for those whose hearts are hard and sick. The wrong-doers are far away from the Lord, 53 And so that the people given the knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, in order that they may accept faith in it, therefore their hearts may humble before Him; and indeed Allah will guide the believers on the Straight Path. 54 Those who deny the truth will continue in doubt until the [Last] Hour suddenly comes upon them or the scourge of the woeful Day descends upon them. 55 For Allah only is the kingship on that day; He will judge between them; so those who believed and did good deeds are in Gardens of content. 56 whereas for those who were bent on denying the truth and gave the lie to Our messages, there shall be shameful suffering in store. 57
