O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 Who believe in their Lord's revelations, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Do they say he is mad! No, he came to them with the truth, but most of them hate the truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
