It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
