[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
