It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
