It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
