It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
