SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
