Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
