Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth who, when the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, say, "Peace to you" 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
