The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
