The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
