The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
