The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
