And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people, 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 "So I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the messengers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 (Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief. 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 Moses continued, "He is the Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
