۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
