۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
