۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
