۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
