3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
