The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the others. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
