The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
