So bring thou a sign if thou art of the truth-tellers. 154 He said: "Here is a she-camel; it has a right to drink (water), and you have a right to drink (water) (each) on a day, known. 155 "Touch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you." 156 But they hamstrung her, then regretted; 157 For they were seized by the torment. Verily there was a sign in this, but most of them did not believe. 158 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 159
