Samood gave the lie to the apostles 141 Their brother Salih said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 142 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 143 So fear Allah and obey me. 144 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 145 "Do you think that you will remain here peacefully forever 146 In gardens and watersprings. 147 And tilled fields and heavy-sheathed palm-trees, 148 carving comfortable houses out of the mountains? 149 So fear Allah and obey me. 150 And obey not the command of the prodigal, 151 Who work corruption in the land and rectify not. 152 They replied: "You are nothing but one of those who are bewitched; 153 You are only a human being like ourselves. Show us a sign, if you are telling the truth." 154 He said: "Here is a she-camel; it has a right to drink (water), and you have a right to drink (water) (each) on a day, known. 155 Do not molest her lest the chastisement of an Awesome Day should seize you." 156 Then they hamstrung her; and then they became regretful. 157 So the chastisement seized them. Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 158 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 159

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
