The people of Lot denied the messengers 160 When their fellowman Lut said to them, “Do you not fear?” 161 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 162 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Do you, of all people, approach males, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits. 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 [Lot] exclaimed: "Behold, I am one of those who utterly abhor your doings!" 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 We destroyed the others 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
