Now, behold, this [divine writ] has indeed been bestowed from on high by the Sustainer of all the worlds: 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
