And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
