Did you not see that Allah has made all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth subservient for you and bestowed His favours upon you in full, both visible and hidden? And some men argue regarding Allah, with neither knowledge, nor guidance, nor a clear Book! 20 When it is said to them: 'Follow what Allah has sent down' they reply: 'No, rather we will follow that which we found our fathers upon' What! Even though satan is inviting them to the punishment of the Fire! 21 ۞ And whosoever submitteth his countenance unto Allah and he is a well doer, he hath of a surety lain hold of the firm cable. Unto Allah is the end of all affairs. 22 But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for Allah knows well all that is in (men's) hearts. 23 We grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting. 24 If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" They will surely answer: "God." Say: "All praise be to God." But most of them do not understand. 25 What is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's; surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised. 26 And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the seas were its ink, with seven more seas to back it up – the Words of Allah will not finish; indeed Allah is Almighty, Wise. 27 Your creation and resurrection is but like that of a single cell. Verily He is all-hearing and all-seeing. 28 Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to his Law), each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do? 29 This is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon besides Him is the falsehood, and that Allah is the High, the Great. 30
