We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel. 23 And We appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance under Our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs. 24 Indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning the matters in which they used to differ. 25 Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Say: 'On the Day of Opening the faith of the unbelievers will not benefit them, nor shall they be respited' 29 Turn away from them and wait. They are, also, waiting. 30
