We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel. 23 and when they remained steadfast and firmly believed in Our Signs, We created among them leaders who guided people by Our command. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They also say, 'When shall be this Victory, if you speak truly?' 28 Say: 'On the Day of Opening the faith of the unbelievers will not benefit them, nor shall they be respited' 29 So turn thou away from them, and wait; they too are waiting. 30
