۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: Whatever reward I have asked of you, that is only for yourselves; my reward is only with Allah, and He is a witness of all things. 47 Say thou: verily my Lord hurleth the truth: the Knower of things hidden. 48 Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear." 49 Say, "If I go astray it will only be against my own soul, but if I receive guidance, it will be through my Lord's revelations." He is All-hearing and Omnipresent. 50 If you could only see when those who denied the truth are terrified, and there is no way out, and they are seized from a place nearby; 51 And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? 52 They had rejected it before, while they indulged in conjectures from far away. 53 And a barrier is set between them and that they desire, as was done with the likes of them aforetime; they were in doubt disquieting. 54
