۞ O men! It is you, who stand in need of God, whereas He alone is self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due. 15 He could take you away if He pleased and bring a new creation (in your place). 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 Equal are not the blind and those who can see, 19 nor are the darkness and the light; 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 Nor alike are the living and the dead. Verily Allah maketh whomsoever He listeth to hear and thou canst not make them hear who are in the graves. 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
