And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. 33 And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein. 34 That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks? 35 Exaltations to Him who created pairs of all the things the earth produces and of themselves, and that of which they have no knowledge. 36 And there is a sign in the night for them. We strip off the day from it and they are left in darkness, 37 The sun is running its course to its appointed place. That is the ordaining of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 38 And We have appointed positions for the moon till it returns like an old branch of the date palm. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 And a sign for them is that We lodged them in a laden ship, while they were in their forefathers backs. 41 And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride. 42 We could have drowned them if We pleased, and none would have answered their cry for help, nor would they have been saved, 43 except through Our Mercy and as enjoyment for awhile. 44 Whenever they are told to guard themselves against sin and the forth coming torment so that perhaps they could receive mercy 45 None of the signs of their Lord ever comes to them but they turn away from it. 46 And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)? Ye are in nothing but manifest error." 47 They say: “When will this threat (of Resurrection) come to pass? Tell us if indeed you are truthful.” 48 They are awaiting only for one Cry to seize them while they are yet disputing, 49 They will have no time to make a will, nor shall they return to their own people. 50
