But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Do they not see that, among the things which Our hands have fashioned, We have created for them cattle of which they are the masters, 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped. 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Does man not see that We created him of a sperm drop, and lo! he is flagrantly contentious? 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
