The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
