۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 "How is it that [now] you cannot succour one another?" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 We had no power over you. In fact, you were a people rebellious. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of Delight. 43 On couches facing one another; 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 Neither dulling the senses nor intoxicating, 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 Who said: art thou of those who confess to the doctrine of Resurrection: 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better or the tree of Zaqqum 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 They can only return to hell. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
