Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
