And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
