And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
