And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
