We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
