We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
