We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
