And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
