We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
