And We have not created the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose; this is what the disbelievers assume; therefore ruin is for the disbelievers, by the fire. 27 Or shall We make those who believe and do righteous deeds as the workers of corruption in the earth, or shall We make the godfearing as the transgressors? 28 [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. 29 And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 30 When the noble galloping horses were displayed to him one evening, 31 He said: "The love of horses is worthy of desire to me for the remembrance of my Lord;" and when they were out of sight, (he said): 32 "Bring them back to me," and he began to rub and stroke their shanks and necks. 33 But [ere this,] indeed, We had tried Solomon by placing upon his throne a [lifeless] body; and thereupon he turned [towards Us; and] 34 He said: my Lord! forgive me, and bestow on me a dominion which no one may obtain beside me: verily Thou! Thou art the Bestower. 35 So we subjugated the wind to his service which carried his merchandise wheresoever he wished; 36 And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver 37 and others also, coupled in fetters: 38 "Such are Our Bounties: whether thou bestow them (on others) or withhold them, no account will be asked." 39 And he enjoyed, indeed, a Near Approach to Us, and a beautiful Place of (Final) Return. 40
