We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without purpose, even though this is the belief of the disbelievers. Woe to the disbelievers; they will suffer the torment of fire 27 Shall We make those who believe and do good deeds equal to those who spread turmoil in the earth? Or shall We equate the pious with the disobedient? 28 (It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful. 29 To David We gave Solomon (for a son),- How excellent in Our service! Ever did he turn (to Us)! 30 When well-bred horses, which were fleet of foot were paraded before him near the close of day, 31 he said: “Lo! I have come to love this wealth on account of the remembrance of my Lord.” And when the horses disappeared, 32 Then he said "Bring them (horses) back to me." Then he began to pass his hand over their legs and their necks (till the end of the display). 33 And certainly We tried Sulaiman, and We put on his throne a (mere) body, so he turned (to Allah). 34 saying, "Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one after me can have the like. You are All-munificent". 35 So We subjected the wind to him, so that it ran softly by his command wherever he wished; 36 And the shaitans, every builder and diver, 37 And other demons bound in chains. 38 [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account." 39 And he has a place near to Us, and a fine return. 40
