Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
